Koppetzki is a global producer of mega parties. He specializes in organizing and managing events in shopping centers, train stations as well as entire city centers.
Germany dances already! DEUTSCHLAND TANZT! People across generational boundaries dance at his events in the most popular shopping malls around Germany. That’s 100% Centertainment!
He transforms public places, particularly shopping centers, but also train stations, city halls or even entire city centers into special places of entertainment and satisfaction. For a so called Unity Night, he cooperates with the local city management, merging the traditional folk fair with club culture and festival feeling – all in one night.
The mega party for everyone. A feeling of unity similar to public viewing during sport events. A great marketing strategy.
He also doesn‘t hesitate taking care of difficult licensing procedures.
Koppetzki will take excellent care of security measures at its events: Safety first!
The ideas float through him and he is always found by the right events. Be it a city festival, a national holiday, an anniversary of, or the opening of a shopping mall, he will have the right solution. A careful preliminary planning let the local city centers become outstanding party environments or will transform a shopping mall into the place of the biggest and best party of the region.
The integration of local DJs and artists will add local color to the events.
There is always an emotional message embedded in his events. In the campaign DEUTSCHLAND TANZT! (Germany dances!), there is, for example, an integrated exhibition of quotations of one of the most renowned German philosophers and authors, Wilhelm Schmid.
Celebrate the World! The visionary Koppetzki is expanding globally with his mega parties that appeal to all generations. “While we celebrate the world, we celebrate ourselves in this world,” he says. “Global consciousness requires local identity.”
The Story
Koppetzki started after the fall of the Berlin Wall, at the beginning of the 1990s in the middle of the so called “Wild East” of Germany. It began with the opening of a club in a military building that was formerly used by the Soviet Red Army. After the withdrawal of the troops, the German Club was opened just there. This club has been one of the most popular German House-Clubs since then. After the demolition of the former military base, this club has become flexible, turning into a concept for events and being thus transported into the clubs of the world. Koppetzki has in fact become an ambassador of German club culture. At the same time, Koppetzki managed to establish and popularize the PACHA-Parties in Germany and Eastern Europe that are well known for their exclusivity.
A variety of extraordinary mega parties followed, as for example the Rummelnacht – an all-inclusive fun fair in the framework of a party as marketing event for showmen – or the Popcorn Festival – a festival in a gigantic corn field. Besides this, Koppetzki increasingly transforms places of everyday life into dancing palaces: The UNITY.NIGHT that was initiated in the city of Dresden, is, for example, organized in cooperation with the local city management. Once a year, since 2000, during the UNITY.NIGHT, both modern and baroque-style buildings and squares in the mostly landmarked inner city of Dresden become sites for this famous event. The city center is transformed into a gigantic party landscape. Celebration happens along with a great variety of musical styles and at more than 50 different locations, as for example the central station, the city hall, churches, street cars, parking garages and shopping malls. This huge event attracts more than 25,000 visitors a year.
Based on this remarkably successful way of refashioning places of public life, a new idea was born: Centertainment - following the concept of American Shop-O-Tainment.
Deutschland Tanzt! (Germany Dances) This campaign has been a series of Germany‘s biggest party events – in the most popular shopping centers – since 2008. It is the contemporary series of so called mega parties for dancing to and celebrating together with the most renowned DJs and artists of the area – the local superstars so to speak. Millions of visitors of all ages may use their respective favorite local shopping mall for an entire night as a party palace. Depending on the local environment and possibilities, Koppetzki creates diverse dance floors and party areas at the respective site of the event. In this way, Koppetzki serves all kinds of scenes and their adherents as well as all kinds of visitors: the mega party for everyone!
This has become the basic idea and resulted in the preparations for a worldwide party campaign. In the sense of “Think global – act local!”: Celebrate the World!
